13X Molecular Sieve is an alkali-metal aluminosilicate with the largest effective pore opening in the standard A/X series — approximately 10 Ångströms. It adsorbs water, CO₂, H₂S, mercaptans, and hydrocarbons simultaneously, making it the first choice for air separation unit (ASU) pre-purification, natural gas deep treating, and general industrial gas drying.

Applications
Air Separation Units (ASU)
Front-end purification in cryogenic ASUs — simultaneously removes water, CO₂, and trace hydrocarbons from feed air before liquefaction, protecting downstream equipment.
Natural Gas & LPG Treating
Deep removal of water, H₂S, and mercaptans from natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas — meets pipeline and transport specifications in one pass.
Oxygen Separation from Air
Used in PSA/VPSA oxygen generators to preferentially adsorb nitrogen, producing enriched oxygen streams for medical, industrial, and aquaculture applications.
Catalyst Support
High surface area and uniform pore structure make 13X an effective catalyst carrier in petrochemical and fine chemical processes.
Deep Gas Drying
General-purpose deep drying of industrial gases where both water and CO₂ must be removed to very low dew points — suitable for instrument air, synthesis gas, and inert gas streams.
