5A Molecular Sieve is a calcium-sodium aluminosilicate with an effective pore opening of 5 Ångströms. It adsorbs all molecules that 3A and 4A can adsorb, and uniquely captures normal alkanes (C3–C4+) while excluding branched-chain and cyclic molecules — the key desiccant for PSA hydrogen & oxygen production, natural gas treating, and n/iso-alkane separation in refining.
- Pore size 5Å — adsorbs n-alkanes, H₂O, H₂S, CO₂, SO₂; excludes branched & cyclic molecules
- Available in 1.6–2.5 mm and 3.0–5.0 mm bead sizes
- Static n-hexane adsorption ≥ 11% — key indicator for n/iso separation applications
- Regenerable at 200–350°C via hot purge gas or vacuum
- Available in 25 kg iron drum, carton box, or bulk bag

Applications
Natural Gas Treating
Simultaneous removal of water, H₂S, and CO₂ from natural gas streams in a single adsorption bed. Ideal for gas processing plants and pipeline injection specifications.
PSA Oxygen & Hydrogen Production
Core adsorbent in pressure swing adsorption (PSA) units for on-site oxygen and hydrogen generation — widely used in steel mills, medical facilities, and refineries.
n/iso-Alkane Separation
Selectively adsorbs straight-chain (normal) alkanes while excluding branched and cyclic isomers — used to upgrade low-octane naphtha fractions in petroleum refining.
Hydrogen Purification
Removes residual water and ammonia in ammonia-cracking hydrogen purifiers, ensuring high-purity H₂ output for fuel cells and semiconductor manufacturing.
