Activated Alumina (Al₂O₃) is a highly porous, high-surface-area adsorbent with outstanding affinity for water. It dries over 20 types of gas and liquid streams, removes fluoride from drinking water, and serves as a catalyst carrier in petrochemical processes. A high-performance grade (BET ≥ 420 m²/g) is also available with dew-point performance comparable to 4A molecular sieve.
- Al₂O₃ content ≥ 90% — high chemical purity and stability

- Three bead sizes: 3–5 mm, 4–6 mm, 6–8 mm — crush strength up to ≥ 220 N
- Low attrition rate ≤ 0.3% — minimal dust, long service life in packed beds
- Regenerable at 150–300°C; lower regeneration temperature than molecular sieves

Applications
Industrial Gas Drying
Dries air, O₂, N₂, H₂, ethylene, propylene, and 20+ other gases. Widely used in heatless and heat-regenerated compressed air dryers, instrument air systems, and gas processing plants.
Water Treatment & Fluoride Removal
Removes fluoride, phosphate, arsenic, and trace organics from drinking water and industrial wastewater. A proven solution for defluoridation in regions with elevated natural fluoride levels.
Liquid Hydrocarbon Drying
Dehydrates gasoline, kerosene, naphtha, and other hydrocarbon liquids — used upstream of catalytic reformers and isomerization units to protect catalysts from water poisoning.
Catalyst & Dechlorinating Agent
Used as catalyst, catalyst carrier, adsorbent, and dechlorinating agent in refinery and petrochemical operations. High surface area and pore volume make it ideal for active phase dispersion.
Pharmaceuticals, Textiles & Other Industries
Broad industrial use as filler, adsorbent, and desiccant in pharmaceuticals, textiles, metallurgy, analytical instruments, and specialty gas manufacturing.
