3A Molecular Sieve is a crystalline aluminosilicate with an effective pore opening of 3 Ångströms. It selectively adsorbs water, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide while excluding ethane, ethylene, and larger molecules — the standard desiccant for insulated glass units, cracked gas drying, and polar solvent dehydration.
- Pore size 3Å — adsorbs H₂O, NH₃, H₂S; excludes ethane & propylene
- Available in 1.6–2.5 mm and 3.0–5.0 mm bead sizes for different applications
- High crush strength — low dust rate, long service life
- Regenerable at 200–300°C via hot purge gas or vacuum
- Available in 25 kg iron drum, carton box, or bulk bag

Applications
Insulated Glass Units (IGU)
1.6–2.5 mm beads absorb residual moisture inside the sealed glass cavity, preventing condensation and fogging. Widely used across Gulf region construction.
Cracked Gas & Olefin Drying
Removes moisture from ethylene, propylene, and butadiene streams without co-adsorbing the hydrocarbons — critical for downstream processing.
Natural Gas Dehydration
Deep dehydration upstream of LNG liquefaction and long-distance pipeline transport.
Refrigerant Drying
Desiccant in refrigeration and air conditioning circuits to prevent freeze-up and acid formation.
Solvent Dehydration
Dehydrates polar solvents including ethanol, methanol, and acetonitrile for pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
Air & Gas Pre-treatment
Pre-treatment drying for air separation units, instrument air systems, and compressed gas lines.
