13X APG is an enhanced-performance molecular sieve engineered specifically for cryogenic air separation. Compared to standard 13X, it delivers higher water adsorption (≥26.5%) and CO₂ adsorption (≥18.5%), preventing column freezing and ensuring stable operation at low temperatures. Also widely used for natural gas and LPG treating, oxygen enrichment, and simultaneous H₂O + CO₂ or H₂O + H₂S removal.
- Static water adsorption ≥ 26.5% — 10% higher than standard 13X
- Static CO₂ adsorption ≥ 18.5% — prevents column freeze in cryogenic ASU
- Higher crush strength: ≥30 N (1.6–2.5 mm) / ≥90 N (3.0–5.0 mm)
- Available in 1.6–2.5 mm (8×12 mesh) and 3.0–5.0 mm (4×8 mesh)
- Regenerable at 200–300°C; store sealed, away from oil and oxidants

Applications
Cryogenic Air Separation (ASU)
Front-end purifier for cryogenic ASUs — removes H₂O, CO₂, and hydrocarbon oxides from feed air. Higher adsorption capacity prevents column freezing and extends cycle time between regenerations.
Natural Gas, LPG & Liquid Hydrocarbon Treating
Simultaneous dehydration and desulfurization of natural gas, LPG, and liquid hydrocarbon streams — meets pipeline and export specifications in a single adsorption step.
Co-adsorption: H₂O + CO₂ / H₂O + H₂S
Achieves simultaneous removal of water with either CO₂ or H₂S in a single fixed bed — reduces equipment footprint and simplifies process design for gas treating units.
Catalyst Co-carrier & Deep Gas Drying
Used as catalyst co-carrier in petrochemical processes. Also serves as a high-capacity desiccant for deep drying of industrial gases where ultra-low dew points are required.
